There are several premiership players from last year playing 2's that can't get a look in this year. Made it hard for you guys not having a full side.Werribee are an unbelievably good side, like Collingwood you don't really like how good they are but you just have to admit it. The improvement from 2009 is a credit to their whole club. You have to win the midfield to be any chance with a stopper on Cam Lee who is a jet off half back, you need a dangerous small forward (like they have) and 1-2 power forwards(like they have). This is perhaps where Ajax matched them, we had no answers yesterday, our midfield is out of form. Our first 40 minutes was OK. I was extremely impressed with there conditioning (fitness) and a team that is playing with enormous confidence. Obviosly committed to the task. Their reserves side would be competitive in D1 seniors, i just looked at guys that were fit and well prepared who would play in most senior sides in "C" Grade. Will be in "B" Grade next year. The best side we have played by 10 goals which is comparative to their results.

KB - not wrong about Werribee, they are miles ahead of the rest including Ajax. Don't care that Ajax beat them - time will tell the story. The rest of the section looks pretty even and the key will be as always to get close to your best team on the park to have a good day. Hoping the Ashes can stop finding ways to injure themselves soon... Having said that they got smashed by a much better Ormond side on the weekend - it got quite embarrassing ... Not sure trying to rebound and restore pride against Werribee will be the go but fingers crossed...
Good try Trevor.
Ajax clearly best side, ashes will be up for the grand final replay.
Ashes have been good until a week or so ago.
Monash might just win this one
Now your doing comedy tt
We haven't played Ajax yet, they were an awesome side last year (bit scary isn't it), i now believe them and Werribee will play off, early call i know, they may match up pretty evenly. It would be a cracker of a game. Meanwhile the "C" Grade comp is hot this year, i think OC got off to a bad start but were terrific last year and will be good for the rest of the year, that will put alot of pressure on everybody. Big game for Ruppppo this week, that could be every week from now on. 4pts will be like gold for most sidesKB - not wrong about Werribee, they are miles ahead of the rest including Ajax. I think every one on here knows that I'm not funny.
Beware the student!
That's correct. Has 2 plates in Jaw. Can run next week and will be out for only 4 to 5 weeks. Very courageous player and in at the contest all the time. No one I've spoken to saw the incident. The club's best wishes go out to him.Been away for a week and heard last night Stef Callea broke his jaw on the weekend is that the case.

Didn't happen at Mynt did it? Poor guy, he'll be feeling pretty miserable for a couple of weeks at least, its a painful injury.
He's probably the only bloke from the club that doesnt end up at that joint!
Will be sorely missed. Tough as nails and will be back hopefully sooner than later.
If anything is a sign of how young the Werribee line up is, it's that they go to mynt. That place is an under/23's night.
Sad to hear if the bloke has been attacked on a night out, that sort of thing shouldn't happen to anyone.
He was hit in the last quarter of the game on Saturday. It was a legal tackle, unfortunately for Stef he was hit in the right place. Sorry mate, he doesn't drink so he wouldn't be stirring up any trouble to get hit on a night out.
Werribee will definitely miss him for the next few weeks.
