Your 2's side is phenomenally good.... Would be interesting watching them play senior sides around the d2 or 3 grade
They had 7 players out, so they are lot better than what you saw on Saturday. Probably explains why they haven't lost a game so far.

Was told this morning that the Tiges have 16 players out of there best sides tomorrow 7 seniors 9 reserves . So to Westy or Bocce or TT can you confirm this to be true and would you think would make both sides vunerable tomorrow. And i was goin to have a look at the 3rds at south tomorrow have they got a side doesnt sound to good.

Spot on. Thirds will win well as they have a fast young side in, down at price Reserve
Ones will have their work cut out. Will see how far down they bat.
Two's will win and win well.

I thought they showed how far down they bat last week with so many out this week will certainly test them but you sound abit doubtfull bocce.
There depth is quite astonishing and the ins have all been good senior players over the last 3or 4 years probably get to look at a few with finals 6 weeks away. Is it right that mccutcheon(TATE) and Harrington are both in the ressies if so whats the story there.

Westy please help me out is it worth turning up or all to no avail.
Be early . Should be a good game of footy as these sides were last years finalists. With a few out will be a close game.
Two's should be too good even with the thirds side in.

Both players didn't play last week and it seems that if that's the case you have to come back through the two's. Never been the case last few years. Just goes to show how things have changed. Wonder if the twos coach has anything to do with it. He seems to know his stuff and don't think he would put up with any crap. Looking forward to both matches with tiges coming out on top

Bocce any one from the inner sanctum of werribee can tell you that not all ones players need to go through the twos if they are coming back from an injury or suspension. There are a select few that are walk up starts and have either never played twos or haven't played there in a while

Gutsy effort by the Roys yesterday who played with effectively 20 men for almost the whole game when Harry Topp was off to hospital with whiplash/concussion from a tackle and Chris Poliadoras suffered a shoulder injury which never settled down enough for him to return. The late withdrawal of Pickering with a knee trouble was a shot in the arm for the Wellers, despite Ross Borland proving a very able replacement.

OC couldn't nail the door shut despite having more of the general play, and we gifted them couple of goals through defensive indecision, albeit under good forward pressure from the Roys. The fact the siren sounded with Tom Cheshire storming clear inside 50 and about to have a crack at the wining goal for Fitzroy shows how tense a game it truly was!

End result, OC lift themselves out of the relegation slots, but there's still only 2 games separating 3rd and 9th! Have to say it's looking pretty grim for MHSOB who are facing the double drop now with a god-awful percentage ad a current losing streak of 0-8.

Otherwise, it appears there's still 7 teams playing for the right to face Mazenod in a 1st semi, but also to avoid the dreaded trap door.

Plenty of exciting footy left in the regular season for sure. :thumbsu:

Rupertswood? 9 goals 23 behinds? As well as being 1 goal 10 behinds at halftime? Please explain.

it was comical, the skills were comical, the umpiring not so comical, the ground condition comical. Mind you OE were by far the better side on the day, they have given us a footy lesson on both occasions this season. Flaherty is a gun, we had our chances (that is a comical statement too)

Sorry Les but some umpires are far too sensitive. Barracking and passion should always be a strong part of our game.

Sounds like a tough afternoon kb, glad you can still see the comedy in it! Would have been nice to have had some mud down at werribee, we would have only lost by 100pts! Have seen werribee twice now, can't believe they have lost two games. Not sure where it leaves monash.

Harry Topp was not in hospital from a the result of a tackle. He was wacked from behind.
