was at elsternwick park today as well to watch the game as neutral supporter.

Was a fantastic match, with Oakleigh deserving the win.

I have read a lot of posts here bagging AJAX supporters, but I can tell you they were fantastic today, where a select few from Oakleigh were an absolute disgrace.

The Oakleigh fans behind the goals in the last quarter should be ashamed of themsleves.

AJAX player number 27, produced one of the most courages acts I have ever seen on a football field, running back witht he flight of the ball, only to be hit front on by a group of 3 players.

The Oakleigh fans behind their goals, ridiculed him and laughed, whilst he lay on the ground unconcious- If there are any Oakleigh fans on here that ridicule and bag AJAX supporters, you are just hypocrites and naive.

And btw i support OLD Xavs.

yeah right!!!

You also watched AJAX v Whitefriars as a neutral supporter 3 weeks ago and said AJAX were all class and should have won by 196 points.
I'm not a fan of all the crap that gets posted about AJAX either. I have respect for them in certain ways, however pretending you just rock up to AJAX games, yet follow another side is pretty sad. We are all not 7 years old. Sure we act that way sometimes....

Not the least bit surprised. They are a rabid bunch. Playing in the GF last year and getting flogged I actually still managed to quite enjoy the banter. However, when games are close or they're getting done, they turn feral. A good football side, but putrid things are the Oakleigh faithful.

long time reader first time poster......all the talk seems to be about the same clubs. ajax are ajax they will never change, if you want to prove a point beat them when you come up against the jackas.
there are a couple of teams flying under the radar here, surprised to see the form of mhsob after most early posts indicated they were favourites for relegation which surprised me as they came down with the jackas and rolled them last year i believe, theyve now rolled three in a row and ppl are still tipping against them against an out of form rupo.
hamtpon look the goods at this point tho, waiting to see a couple of BOGs from robbins at ormond.
when is vic rep squad selected????
and who is coaching??

Not much is clear just yet. Situation normal in good old C Grade.
Can only say the following for sure:

Rovers will be thereabouts
Friars and Rupo need something to go right VERY soon
Cannot call the rest until at least the half way mark

Nice pick up Monk!

What did you think of Oakleigh?

Can they threaten on what you saw yesterday?

Wasn't there old friend. Was busy penning some notes at home and watching the Dees come rolling home. Have never ever seen Oakleigh play. Not this year or ever. Would guess thay are a show of some sort going on results.

When they release the Rep. Team surely Chief & Mick Meyer must be in the squad, a great battle at Gerry Green, well done Rovers look forward to the Return at David St. Spider Kennedy has them going well, Mick Meyer & Darren Rochford are more than welcome to play with the Rovers.

The Tigers son, must learn how to kick, they butchered the prue,I think that's 12 in row for the Saints........

Iancave, why must you continue your obsession pretending you are from Rovers? We all know you are not. A person of your standing in the VAFA community should be careful what you say on this forum!!!

Don't worry about us fellas. We'll be up and around the mark this year. The loss in Round 1 to Hampton shouldn't have happened as we weren't mentally or physically prepared and probably took them a bit too easy due to the massive result in last years GF. But now we have put that behind us and are concentrating on 2008. We think we're a BIG chance of going back to back. So everyone, prepare to be KRUSHED!

W@nker. Both the person responsible and the namesake. He's an out & out tool. And if you're gonna pretend to be someone at least do your research. They'll be going for more than just back to back you goose.

Get stuffed tosser! I'm talking about in the 2 seasons when we've had to deal with toffees like you Hampton homo's! Wait till the business end of the season and we'll see you soft c*nts run away from the contest again. But i suppose you'll start whinging again about "Our players got beaten up behind play". Soft as jerk!

WHOOPS! Cleary is a spud.

Big whisper coming out of Gunn Reserve that Robbins won't be right for Saturday's big clash. Bit of a shame Ormond won't be at full strength given the build up to this one. Should be a ripping contest.

I can't believe you Oakleigh and Hampton people continue with your stupid banter. Why don't we concentrate on football on this forum and the issues that arise from a week to week basis. I think C grade is in a strong position at the moment with many teams fighting it out for the top couple of spots. At the moment i reckon the ladder will finish AJAX, Ormond, Hampton and then Monash with Oakleigh and Parkdale finishing very closely behind in 5th and 6th spot respectively. I look forward to the rest of the season.

Lookg forward to the Rovers-Ormond game on Saturday. It'll be interesting to see what will happen. Who'll win?

Speak for yourself Yosi, some of the best bigfooty reading comes from some friendly banter.

I presume from your ladder prediction that you think AJAX will finish on top. Can you please explain to me how you think they will do this as they are 2-2 and not played any of the current top 4 sides as yet.

Buddy, we've had key injuries to key players in Dukes and Ritterman especially. Wait till these boys get back into full form along with the rest of our team. We are by far the fittest team in the competition and will run rings around opposition teams as soon as we get it all right. We're only going to improve on out 2006 C grade result as we have a better side this year and opposition seems to be of a much lower standard.

Not much of a big whisper, Kingbrown stated he had done his hammy a few posts back.

Will be a good game, even with Robbins missing
