Um because that's against the rules you ridiculous fool. AFL listed players can't play in the VAFA. Ezra could come play for us if he wanted, rules would permit it. How stupid can you be? As if Judd would play for AJAX in 2008!!!
And as if we care about Sandringham having a bye in the return game. By then Dukes, Ritterman, Lewski, Blieden and co. will be in full flight and will smash those Sandringham toffees out of the water anyway!
Our female suporters complained as there abuse was full of foul language. Whitefriars are a great club, i doubt there coach and president would have condoned there carry on. Walshy has copped abuse for over 20 years, he may give a bit, he also takes alot and never complains. His size and stature opens him up for this abuse
As for cheap shots don't think for one second our lovely Amateurs are exactly innocent. One player has recieved at least 6 short arm jabs in the pack, i see this as rife in the amateurs and i certainly don't condone it but i have seen these cheap shots delivered by some of the most admired players going around. Umpires either ignore it or don't see it.

Well hopefully all this rubbish talk about Ajax being soft is correct. We have them in the next round at the home of football. It's a huge game for us as only a few weeks ago we were playing off for top spot, now we're playing to stay off the bottom. Yosi, I hope you're playing, will enjoy smashing you wide front runners!

Huge game for the Jacka's (after their dismal performance against HR). They would have gone in full of confidence, and obviously got smashed all over the park.
For them to be taken seriously as a premiership contender, they need to win this one (and win well). Imagine them turning at 4 wins, 5 losses! They would need to win 7 or 8 out of the remaining 9 to make finals.
I'd expect them to come out firing.

How would you think the 2nd half of the season pan out? Will we see the final four the way it is now at the end of the home & away season, or could we see some changes to the finals race?

The current top 4 will no doubt in my mind change. The Rovers will surely drop a few games and be brought back to the field. Ormond will remain in the top two. Parkdale's old and tiring legs will stop running and fall away to the end of the year, and Ajax will get found out re: their hardness at the ball, therefore losing games. I'm tipping a winning streak from the Nods as well as us. We had September locked into our calenders, and we still do.

It's doubtful but rules could permit it. As he is contracted to Carlton and the AFL for 2008 it would be impossible for him to play for us. 2009 is a definate possibility.
if they aint flying by then you will b in trouble with only 5 games to go. hopefully your boys are doing extra weights and fitness over the break

I'm surprised you condone his conduct kb. What he did at Ormond was unprovoked, behind the play and only 25 metres from the coaching bench. I'll give the coaching bench the benefit of the doubt ie they didn't see it because they were focussed on the play. Because, had they seen it, they should have dragged him as any other self respecting club would have. We don't need those type of players in our competition.
One has to question your mental aptitude my good friend. The Ajax fraternity don't want to claim him, yet you continue to debate with and comment on him. Seems to me it's another alias stirring the pot and he's got you (among others) sucked right in.
Back to the reality.... Do we know the final squad for the rep team yet? How many C Section reps are there?
Diggsy Keleher should be Captain, clearly the best player outside A and B and quite likely the best player in the VAFA Ormond will be able to find that out in 2 or 3 years.Great infrastructure and massive young talent at Sandy Dragons that will play with the Monds if not drafted.

Could someone tell me why the rep game (VAFA (C-D4) v VCFL (Districts)) at Sportscover Arena is a 1pm start, and not the traditional 2:00pm start instead?

Fletch made it and is starting in the guts and he said Bleiden is also starting on the ball. Semmel made it too starting in a FP i think. That's just from what i've heard. Don't know about the full side though.
Ammo Man, i wouldn't condone any behind the play stuff. We have been culprits on a few occassions that is of the highest disappointment. I did not see the incident you mention. My point is the Amateur competition whilst being pretty fair is along way from perfect, there are many examples of players doing stupid acts from most clubs.

Are you serious? It's pretty easy to get a kick when you are playing as the spare man and lurk all round the ground with no opponent. Much more talent around the amatuers right now.
