Son,
I think that the whitefriars fella can consider himself VERY lucky to only get 3 weeks! Considering he blatantly headbutted a bloke in full view of the umpire, who was looking straight at the incident and no more than 5 metres away! add to that the fact that the carey player went off the ground with a split nose, and that compared to other comps, the VAFA generally takes a hard line approach to penalising on-field violence... 3 weeks is a great result! In all honesty, I thought he would get at 6 weeks plus! not saying that's what I thought he deserved, but just considering the VAFA's 'anti-violence' stance, thought they would throw the book at him.

Don't disagree with what you say even though I must admint I missed the incident on the day. Can't have done too much damage as Matt Angus killed us from what I saw and was a key part of the comeback.

Head butt Matt Angus? Very brave man! He is one bloke i would hate to see angry!!!

Good luck to all this week we have OCamb this week, in the u19's we had some great battles with OC so we very much look forward to having a crack at them at senior level.

Told yers he measures himself ... on this thread. What he does once he turns off the monitor though ... champagne corks a-poppin' ... you're lovin' it, kb, lovin' it ... I can tell. I can see why, too. Who wouldn't be rapt in your position!?

I reckon the Reds will get 2 on the trot here against ... umm who are we playin'?

Already played Monash Carey Camberwell Ormond Parkdale Nobs, Rupo ... ok its either Whitefriars or Mazenod ... is it Mazenod? Gawd I dunno who they are, what they are, or where they play. I think I picked em to be finalists, too. Reds to win.

Mobster, no links to Tony mokbel? He'd get the Reds up and firing, the Redders are a chance this week. Which Nodders side will come out this week and how many injuries do both sides still carry?

Rory Hilton? Even if he does play he would surely be underdone. If we win tomorrow it will go from Hullaballo to Hullaballohichek!!!!!! Go rupo

Rory Hilton? Even if he does play he would surely be underdone. If we win tomorrow it will go from Hullaballo to Hullaballohichek!!!!!! Go rupo

No mate, wrong side of town :) ... the MOB in my name refers to a Fitzroy yob squad in days gone by called the Masters Of Bull(etc) ... and during Nauru days; the Masters Of Bird(etc)

Are Ormond playing at home today? I'm out shopping that direction again. Reds beanie ... will it get me killed? :D

Went and watched the Monash v NOBs game today - a real scrap from the outset but the Blues prevailed leaving the NOBs precariously placed...

Rupo obviously got the job done again - will be tough keeping a lid on it!!

We did beat a very professional outfit today. Ocamb are clearly very serious about there club being successful. 52 points is not a true reflection, we were very good again. 8-0 zip is truly unbelievable, However The Friars might have a bit of Hullaballoo happening!! Go Jack!!! There Reserves today were awesome and to turn around the seniors game was incredible. Rupertswood are a very good team, credit to the coaching staff and the players.

As i stated last week Parkdale are a good side, there win today confirms this. I also spoke about Bagooley,(very interesting surname) about his marking capacity his 11 goals today confirmed he is a threat to any side. The result surprised and i am sure Ormond would be in shock.

Well done to Rochford making the u23 side, he is a gun!! We have a few at Rupo just quietely with none considered, thanks to the VAFA.

The wheels have officialy fallen off the Old Camberwell bandwagon...another decade in C Section?

Brian,are you a fairweather supporter?

In honesty I was very impressed with Ruppo today.Lots of run, good marking players and plenty of belief in their game plan.Responded really well challenged and fully deserve top spot.
They will take plenty of beating from here on in.
Nevertheless OC were not entirely legless either (makes the winners real good) and there is plenty of improvement to come .(says he hopefully).

anyone at the game today saw there was nothing in it. a high quality game, OC have players to come back. OC challenged us full on and yes we did respond, a great day for Rupppppppo in the fact that i think as a minimum we can safely say we will stay in "C" Grade which was always our initial goal.
