In all honesty I feel that Wilkie hasn't been as good this year as the past couple of years but that's a reflection on the personnel around him than anything else. No idea the source but he's supposedly had the most goals kicked on him out of any key defender this season.

No slight on him whatsoever. If Battle got in this year then zero reason he shouldn't have last year either... some odd selections.

I thought he's had a better year, but our backline has been poorer, which hasn't helped

I have no problem with Keane in the squad and I agree I’d take Wilkie over Keane.

Doesn’t mean Keane shouldn’t be in the squad just because they stuffed up not picking Wilkie.

The point is, you start at the minimum player to kick off the list I would start with Keane, the reality is the only KPD who I htink should be ahead of Wilke's is Collins.

Yeah the Brownlow has been proven to be an absolute farce. The umpires know 3-4 players on each team and just funnel all votes between those players. I can almost guarantee votes are now more concentrated to fewer players than ever.
