He tired this year coming off injuries. Given a big preseason I guarantee you he will impress next year.

I watched a bit of the Dees this year. Petracca has some class. Reminds me of a few of our players who showed promise amongst inconsistency early. He will be very important for the Dees when fully fit next year.

Back to Daniels bandwagon, I would not be complaining at this stage of all 6 players careers if we had picked Caleb ahead of them. They're all special talents but he's OUR special talent and there is just something unique about his skill set I'll take any day, even with hindsight.

He was hard to watch for 3/4s though! Usually so clean and assured, I was starting to get very nervous when he went near the ball because he had one of his worst games in a very long time. Great resilience to fight back and influence the result.

That's been the case with a lot of players this year, like Biggs and McLean who were dropped and played some good footy. Libba seems to be the exception, and we can only hope that Dickson is more like Biggs, McLean and Daniel and not Libba
