Not petulant at all - he obviously expects better of himself and was very angry at himself for not performing to his expectations.Hard not to like Poulter, and I see a bit of myself in him.
I can appear slothful, lazy, but my intensity at key moments --breakfast, lunch, dinner-- is beyond question.
Poults seems laconic but his competitive instincts are evident when it matters. I saw him pound the turf when one contest didn't go his way, which I thought was petulant and encouraging at the same time.
