8 kills in Search is a bit like getting 20 kills in Dom. Doesn't really mean all that much.

Like I mentioned before, clutch kills, defends and plants > standard kills. You're pretty much always going to go 2-1 if you rush like a Dom player until the opposition catches on. If they catch on. Happens all the time with our parties, we play normal and get rushed round 1 and lose, then adjust and win 4-1.

Pull off a 5 or 6 man clutch with the scores tied or plant the bomb by yourself and kill the remaining 2 or 3 people ... against a good team ... and then we will rate your Search abilities.

Heck even a smart decision on movement with the bomb planted and the counter running down is more impressive than 8 kills. Its about winning the round and the game, not kills.

Yeah Search is awesome for those good gaming moments, I just never really play in a party and it's a lot harder when no1 has a mic.

But still good game type.

The first time I pulled off a 6 man clutch I didn't even realise as I was so "in" the game so to speak. I could have snapped off a carbon rod in my arse.

Search gets the heart pumping, the butt puckered and the brain cranking more than any game type. Whether or not its "harder" is irrelevant and to be honest I couldn't really care less.

All I know is Dom is complete and utter shit (on MW3). Shit spawns. Shit players. Shit Design. Shit connections. Shit everything. Worst game type on CoD. Might as well just abolish it for BOPS2.

I am sure Treyarch will put in a better effort for domination in Blops2 than IW did for mw3, even with this half-time thing they have implemented.

It was so easy you got bored, how did you go in the next game?! Yeah people find it boring because it's too slow, don't know if I have heard many people say it's too easy. Especially after playing mw3 dom.
i said i played 1 game and got bored... i was in a party of 3 i went 8-0 they went 7-0, and 5-2.

SnD is a polar opposite to what CoD is/was meant to be (fast paced gun on gun) that is why i don't like it.

I that get you don't like Domination, MW2 and MW3 ruined it as a game type, play it on CoD4 and you might have a different opinion on it.

I asked because I checked on CoD elite and it said you went 7-0 in 4 rounds, then played another game and went 1-3 in 6 rounds. Fair enough that you don't like the slow paced nature of it, but too easy? I mean I can get a pred in 15 seconds flat in mw3 dom. I have already said I enjoyed Black Ops domination mode for the short time that I played the game (well teh parties more than anything I suppose).

And as for SnD somehow having the worst of the community, this is what the elite people of dom have to offer?

i know the feeling you're speaking of...

snd used to give that to me back on cod4 when winning matches used to mean something to the community and the overall average player level was far higher.
now since people on the mode seem more concerned with casting racist/homophobic insults and trickshotting for their montage vids the heart pumping feeling i used to get on snd just doesn't arise 'cause if those 13 year old racist/homophobic trickshotters don't care about winning it's hard for me to care either.

i know in other modes a lot of people don't go for the win either and focus on individual kill counts etc.. but with snd that heart pumping feeling is what i used to play the mode for so without it and the overall slow nature of the mode i found myself avoiding it.

snd was only just a filler mode for me anyways though...my cup of tea has always been about cramming the most action in to my gaming time as possible which is why i play the most head first rushing k/d sacrificing style and modes where i can be in the thick of the action and just cap a lot of objectives and kill a lot of dudes!

the beauty of cod! :hearts:

How many plants? How many defuses? How many clutches?

Who the **** says that is what CoD is/was meant to be? It is what it is! This is what is actually wrong the CoD community. Not the campers or noob toobers or snipers, it's the people that get all ultra aggressive and attack others for playing a certain way or using a certain gun or running a certain tactic.

It's bullshit man. Do whatever you have to do to win the game. If that means sitting in a corner and not moving, so be it. If that means camping a high traffic area, so be it. If that mean using an ACR or an MP7. So be it.

This attitude of "you must rush, you must run around and you must always play a certain way" ******* infuriates me. Play whatever way matches your abilities and gives you the best chance of winning.

I don't like SnD in MW3 because, of the inconsistencies of lag... I get good connection and get punished for it I die and don't respawn.

it's a good game mode but, not for this version of CoD, and my internet.

Absolutely agreed. Search has far too many lobbies of ****silly people playing for virtual street cred. Drives me insane sometimes and it is the predominate reason why I refuse to play it with any less than a 3 or 4 man party.

Busting your arse trying to win the game with two or three campaigners just playing the game to troll people gets old very quickly.

Every game mode has them but SnD has more because the theatre component eg people watching when they're dead.

Welcome to Nuketown 2025.

I'm surprised at the visual aesthetic change. It seems they've made it look more old fashioned and more in the past despite it being a map set 60 years in the future from the first game.

Not saying it looks bad, I'm just surprised they didn't futurise it or go for an overgrown or really bombed out look or something similar. Instead it almost looks like what they would've done with the map had they had the graphical improvements they do now.
i didn't realise the layout was going to be exactly the same.
It's Nuketown again, why would they change the layout up?

I reckon SnD game modes are best played in 3rd person shooters, loved game modes like it in Socom but just can't get onto it in cod.

A bit of a contradiction isn't it? You say win any way you want, but want to know clutch kills, defuses and plants?
