Nope, he ****ed over his mates at the club, something Boyd did not do to our players. Ward also wouldnt be absolutely necessary for ultimate success. If we dont win a premiership this time around it certainly wont be because we didnt have more inside midfielder depth.

Would be your best player IMO, Bont and Stringer could go past him but round 1 2017 it would be him then maybe Libba. Every side can do with a Callan Ward.

We don't need Callan Ward. Removing his history to our club to one side and if he was a F/A (so didn't cost anything in terms of a trade) then yes we would snap him up. But our inside mid stocks (particularly for the future are better than most). He just ain't needed in comparison to a ruck or some more high quality KPPs.

Not to mention we always draft well in terms of inside mids. Its our spine/ruck stocks thats always been the big ??

FWIW I think 99% would argue Stringer is a better player than Ward. And yes I mean right now as one is an AA and the other is not.

The majority of your list and the AFL in general would have done the same thing if that much cash was thrown at them. The fact that a player with so much history at a club like Gary Ablett could leave Geelong shows that any player can.

You might be personally trying to take some high road, which looks ridiculous given your support of Boyd, but you can guarantee both the club and players would welcome him back very quickly.
