Carlton fan here, want to offer my hearty congrats, if Weitering couldn't win it, than Cal Mills was the guy i wanted to win, absolute ripper of a bloke and a terrific footy story, being the first Sydney metro born and bred player to win a major AFL award (I believe)

Incredible effort. So rare is it that a young kid in his first season actually gets better with every single game. Usually there's a dip along the way or they fade towards the end. But Millsy had an insanely consistent year.
