Sinclair is not that bloke. He's a fwd who can ruck. He gets by at AFL level in the ruck but he will not be a good number 1 ruck

Port were interested in Lycett 2014 but he chose to re-sign. I note he only played 6 games this year. Was it form or injuries.?

form got him out and Sinclair hasn't done a thing wrong since he got into the team. I know most of the eagles have had career best years but Sinclair has been awesome.

Lysett has also had injuries but remains our second best ruckman on real potential - which is why a club must have three ruckmen = no trade unless the price is an offer you could not refuse. Jetta isn't any where near that offer

The Eagles wouldn't trade Sinclair because our ruck stocks are thin and Sinclair wouldn't ask for a trade because he pushed Lycett out of a team that has made the grand final. Seems like a complete non-starter.

yeah unless one wants out you dont budge. Both sinclair and lycett can play good footy as a second ruck

WC are one of the most conservative traders. We don't just trade players for the sake of trading them.

The reason we are interested in sinclair is because we are low in the kpp department. No way the club would trade reid now. He has been ripping us off salary wise for the past few years. Its only been this year where we have seen value for money

I agree.
Just trying to push the point that Reid is their back up KPF like Sinclair is our backup Ruck and both would be seen as required players by their teams.
