Being a 20yr old he's still very young for a key position player so he can work on things in the VFL.

Gunston is a million years old. Chol and Lewis aren't spring chickens either. Calsher would know he has a future at the Hawks so long as he keeps toiling away and working hard.

I also have a suspicion that Calsher is very similar to Will Langford. Both guys weren't footy mad. Especially with losing his father at a young age, he'd know there's bigger things to worry about than footy.

All speculation but I feel if he doesn't get the opportunity to play for Hawthorn he won't play anywhere and will just leave the game altogther.

At this stage, Gunston is going around again in 2027. No reason not to.

I didn't specifically say he was leaving, but i do think the Hawks will move on a key forward this off season.

At a guess, i think it'll be Lewis.

I am a bit surprised he does not play. Did he have a good pre-season? A bit like Jed Walter as he needs to work on some things?

The sooner you accept that if there's a player out of contract that Nosta will create a thread about them, the better.
