Has there been suggestion he'd like to go to the suns? Or just a hope of yours?
I'd like him there , just haven't seen anything anywhere to suggest he'd like to come our way.
More a hope of mine... Someone suggested yesterday on our board that he is pretty good mates with Jarrod Lyons and might be looking at joining him..

Surely an add on with MM to Carlton makes perfect sense?
Wouldn't be the worst idea for Carlton. As long as they don't need to pay him too much. Low risk, high reward type of scenario.
Would also be worth a look for Essendon. Big-bodied ball winner

Don't think he adds too much value in trade discussions.

Would be happy enough to take CEY for a late pick but would be just as happy without him. He's not someone we'd look to add to MM entice us to give up a significantly higher pick.

He averages 20 disposals, 5 tackles a game and 5 clearances a game this year for the Crows, he's going to cost you a little bit more than a late pick. A late second would be the best scenario. He'll be one of your better mids next year and would add a lot, as would the natural progression of Dow, Kennedy and co.

Best scenario for who - a club looking to bring him in?

Yeah...good luck with that.

No club would pay that price for a 26 year old fringe player and rightly so.

Pick in the 40s for Jarryd Lyons who was pretty similar, if not given even more opportunity than CEY (an extra 26 games over the 5 years).

Wouldn't think clubs would pay more for CEY than Lyons?

Either way Crows wouldn't be unhappy if they kept him, wouldn't be unhappy if they traded him. Depth inside mid who is both necessary yet expendable. Schrodingers Footballer.

He's a rookie so he can just walk to a main list spot elsewhere unless we agree to upgrade him as well. If we offered a modest two years on the main list reckon he'd stay.
