how about you acknowledge his usual poor games? Seems like most Rayner supporters just pop in twice a year and show me stats of his best game as if it's the norm lol

I get it is an excuse, but in his current role he's a role player and used as a connector but a goal scorer or a clearance player. It's a master of none role.

Let's not use full back as an example because Rayner plays midfield/high half forward.

17 touches a game is poor for a midfielder. 3 goals is pathetic as a forward. 17 touches and 0.5 goals a game is crap no matter which way you look at it.

If he was good enough, he'd be in that role.

you didn't have the courage to provide any prediction because you had no faith in Rayner so you can't comment. And no he hasn't outperformed each week. I had him down for 1 goal a game and he's kicked 3 goals all year. Imagine looking at 17 touches a game and thinking that's a win from a midfield role

He was ok on Saturday. But I think when things go against Brisbane their players start trying to do too much. So Daniher starts having shots from 60, Neale goes for miracle kicks and Rayner starts trying to break multiple tackles. They've got a bunch of good players and Rayner is one. But they tend to get selfish when put under pressure.

I’m always excited about Rayner even in the off-season. Would love to take a trip with him overseas, maybe to the American south. Don’t call me a fair weather Rayner fan!!
