nah he's not. The AA panel already chose Frisch in their squad in 2022. And he's in the conversation for it this year. Rayner will never come close to being even in these hypothetical teams. Miles off it. He's as likely to make it as say a Tom Sparrow.

I think the real reason Rayner's influence died off in the second half is because Gawn got sick of watching him dominate the clearances and instead reverted to trying to grab literally everything direct out of the ruck

If you ignore the pick 1 and ignore the ridiculous Dusty and Trac comparisons he is fine as a solid/okay best 22 player. Maybe in his prime he can be more than that. But currently he is just a really average/okay footballer at best.
