Rayner is a good player whose best 5 or 6 games each season are up there with the elite in the comp. If he got the ball 20+ times a game that's the level he'd be at.

His best chance at an incredible legacy is ripping apart another couple of finals series Dusty-style. He's still had plenty of big moments regardless - just more of a "moments" than high volume player.

LDU in a stacked midfield is far less likely to get the ball as much as he does with the Roos. He'd have to compete with Neale, Ashcroft, McCluggage.

On the flip side, Rayner would likely be starting in the midfield for you guys, leading to him excelling even more.
