I'm not sure what your fascination with comparing a midfielder to a forward is, maybe because LDU is the best you've got?

If you want to compare LDU to anybody, maybe try Ashcroft. But in under 50 games Ashcroft is already better, so bad luck.

LDU in a stacked midfield is far less likely to get the ball as much as he does with the Roos. He'd have to compete with Neale, Ashcroft, McCluggage.

On the flip side, Rayner would likely be starting in the midfield for you guys, leading to him excelling even more.

Rayner at the Lions, has to play forward because our midfield is so good. Rayner at the Roos, is better than most of your midfielders and would be more impactful in the midfield than forward.
