I'm not sure if you should rate mature age draft picks such as Kelly and Mihocek against guys that are 5+ years younger. Really they should be rated amongst the picks that were taken in what should have been their draft year. It just seems a bit disingenuous.

it works the other way as well though. You need to insert all the guys turning 26 this year into the 2017 draft group. And there are a good half doze of them holding down best 22 spots that were taken in later drafts, though admittedly no stars.

Vandermeer, Joe Richards, Riccardi, Answerth, Jiath, McLean, Wicks, Butts are mostly playing pretty good footy.

I'll help you out. I think I said previously he would be late first round or early second if you had the draft again. Career so far he is still 15 to 20 in that field. That is not a knock on him and as I said before, I would have been happy to have him at the Pies to replace Elliott as he nears the end. He is a downgrade on Jamie, but most are.

Petracca is elite. Another one of the 20 to join Rayner in the 15 & 1 club - a regular member in fact outside of last year where he didn’t play enough games. I don’t think you realise you are actually reinforcing Rayners quality in this conversation

Dan is here as he is integral to our success. Call him a good luck charm. The more he doesn't rate Rayner the better Cam plays. Since he compared Rayner to Fritsch the former has reached AA squad and a premiership and the latter became a reserves player. The guy didn't even rate Morris last year yet here we are.
