Such an odd fixation.

He didn't cost you the game.

He didn't hurt any Geelong players (unless O'Connor got a finger injury from all the pinching? Such a courageous way to target an opponent wasn't it. Surely a Robert Rose award coming his way).

And as has been noted, he is not exactly the first person to add a bit of mayonnaise from a push in the back.

He's not known for playing for frees.

And yet for some Geelong supporters (not the sensible ones) Rayner may as well have ironed out Neville Bruns, killed 3 people with a Beef Wellington and caused the Westgate Bridge Collapse - although maybe he could have done that with one of those sublime tackles?

Not sure if bringing this up less than a week after getting smashed in a GF you were favored to win has the same impact honestly

To warn you Lions fans, the catters go a bit nuts after you beat em in a GF. I've had too many conversations with cats fans who think Dusty was a 'junk time' player, padding his stats after the game was won - the bloke who literally started, continued, and finished the comeback against them in the GF.

Seems they've got Rayner in their sights now. Gee, some of his moments in the game were epic. Those crunching tackles finished the game in the fourth.. and yeah, he was tagged for a reason - unless the cats fans are discrediting their own coaching panels judgement.

This is the most depressing comment I’ve seen in a while on this website.

All you’ve got left is the 22 prelim. We took away your 24 prelim and grand final. We took away your 25 grand final. We took that from you. Look at what you’ve been reduced to Dan.

And to top it off now several senior Geelong players are apparently unhappy, believing that Bailey Smith caused a massive distraction for the club heading into and during the finals series this year and jeopardised your ability to win the flag with an otherwise perfect preparation.
