Nothing changes with Greedy Fritsch. Dogs don’t have a match up for him. Played a guy in about his 3rd game in defence on him, who amongst other things dropped an uncontested mark straight into Fritsch’s arms for a goal. Fritsch is dangerous when he gets a favourable matchup but you don’t spend the sort of draft capital near where you rate him on a Joe the Goose uncontested specialist, who averages 4 contested possessions per game and a contested grab every 2.5 matches. No matter how many times he “finds” himself on his own in close range of goals when your midfield has broken up the play.

Go by your club. McDonald was your highest rated forward last year in your B & F and without him your forward line is a mess, relatively at least. Fritsch was your 4th highest rated forward in your B & F and with him in the team your forward line is currently a mess. So you are smart enough to work that out Dan….I think.

Fritsch, who by age belongs in the 2014 draft crop, is realistically judging by overall player careers and last years Melbourne B & F standings, Melbourne FC’s sixth best player from that draft crop. He is clearly behind Petracca and Brayshaw and Lever based on entire career. And Fritsch finished behind Neal-Bullen and Langdon in thr B & F in what was by miles Fritsch’s best ever season. So you have your club’s 6th best player from one draft year rated as overall worth pick 4 in an AFL wide draft. . That is next level Dan.

Nothing embarrassing about finishing behind those 2 players. They're good players. Like Langdon is one of the best wings in the league so no idea why you'd even mention him. ANB is also a good player. You do realise melbourne had 5 all-australians in 2021 so the BnF essentially starts at 6. Not 1. I don't think any 1 player from another club gets in Melbournes top 5, let alone brisbane.
