Rayner played his first v top 4 team Port, and though I didn't watch it, from all accounts he has had a strong impact. So not a bad start for a guy danster168 rates worth pick 30, 26 places below Fritsch and 11 places below Spargo.

Where was Spargo by the way? Must be resting him for the all important 2024 season.

Yeah JHF is going to be a seriously good player. That said, Rayner is on the cusp of becoming a very good finals player. Week one was huge, but get the feeling he will back it up.

Oh the Brisbane hater is back- still chipping away are we? Just about every thread isn’t it. Eventually you might get something right, wish you would do a disappearing act.

If it is his best final ever then fair enough. But I doubt it will be. It is his first final as a prime aged player, so as far as that sample goes he has had a huge impact in his only prime aged final so far. So the signs are good.
