lol. Can you imagine the pies coaching planning for this granny. They'll put about 30 seconds of planning into Rayner. Should we bring in Arlo Draper to clamp him, or go with Oleg Markov? Maynard and Quaynor will go to the real threats.

I think this is what his career will always amount to. Has his up's here and there but alike Gary Rohan, just not a player you can rely upon in the big games once finals footy arrives.

Heck I hope they ignore him, I'd love to see Maynard get absolutely poleaxed by Rayner at a stoppage.

AFL.com.au article says "Cam Rayner became a midfield missile, clearing paths with his brute force,"

Fagan said he took it upon himself to change the game in the second term. Rayner has a licence to insert himself into the centre bounces when he senses the moment. And he is learning how to use that licence. Fagan said there are reasons they took Rayner at pick 1. Ability to impose himself on a game.

This must kill you Dan when Spargo is sitting in the Casey team most weeks and Fritsch is waiting for his team-mates to gift wrap the ball for him so he can take an uncontested chest mark. :)

'wasn't brilliant', he was horrendous. It's funny that in about 2 hours of football people have to try to find small moments in play where he actually did something to signify his influence on a game. 2 kicks in 2 hours of football :) 1 of which missed the target. and about 3 handballs which grubbed along the ground.

I see you conveniently left out mentioning Rayners game vs Port or the fact that Spargo has spent half the season in reserves!

Half of those blokes on that list are not even close to Rayner. You're embarrassing yourself.

nup, the Brisbane fans were nowhere to be seen from Round 4 until last week. That can't be denied. Now he's back to his usual self and I'm pointing that out. I've acknowledged that he's played 2 good games this year, one being last week. This week, undid anything he did last week from an output perspective.
