hahahahahaha you're calling his game good? LAUGHABLE!!!!

Fritsch can have 3 years of bad footy. It's called having credits in the bank. When you kick 6 in a granny and 59 for the season you can afford these luxuries.

Cam Rayner on the other hand who had 9 effective disposals in 2 hours of footy, in the MIDFIELD, yet again! He would need 4-5 consecutive All-Australians to justify pick 1. And on his current trajectory, he'll be even lower down than pick 30.

Can you tell me how on earth you've got him higher than Dylan Moore? Or even Ainsworth. You conveniently didn't address that.

Also if 9 effective disposals is your measurement of good then can you make a case that Rayner is better than Sparrow? Sparrow averages more disposals, in the same role and has produced on the big stage, including a clutch GF goal.

I have detected the odd error in your post dan. Let me share the same with you. 😁

I didn’t call his game good dan…..therefore, you are WRONG.

Hmmmm…..so a player averaging 30% Centre Bounce Attendances is a midfielder now dan? Given apart from the ruckman 3 other players from each team attend centre bounces, that would mean that on average teams would have 10 inside midfielders on top of their ruckman. And if Rayner is a midfielder, what was he doing taking a massive contested mark at the top of the goal square late in the final term v the Bombers with the game on the line dan? Makes about as much sense as most of what you contribute. 🤣. Therefore….WRONG.

"Rayner would need 4-5 consecutive All Australians to justify pick 1….” Can you show us the pick 1 who has 4-5 consecutive All Australian selections dan? Can you tell us how many All Australian selections is the median for a pick 1? A lot of people would probably pick Dustin Martin first of any player this century. He has 4 non-consecutive All Australian selections. Therefore…yet again, you are WRONG.

Rayner is that far ahead of Ainsworth from the 2017 draft it is not even debatable. Therefore, you are WRONG.

If I want a tidy small forward/winger from the 2017 draft I will look at Dylan Moore who is playing very well. But I mainly want keys, mids and mid/forwards with my top 10 selections, thus Rayner is above Dylan Moore. Therefore….you guessed it, you are WRONG.

If Sparrow is as you say in the same role as Rayner….why is Rayner averaging 1.7 goals + goal assists, and has 12 contested marks, and Sparrow is averaging 0.5 goals + goal assists and has taken errrrr, how do I say this, 2 contested marks. Once again, as usual, you are WRONG.

If Sparrow didn’t kick his “clutch Grand Final goal” then Melbourne would have won by 11 goals. Therefore dan, and I should not have to tell you this, it was not a clutch goal. Furthermore, had Fritsch not kicked any of his entirely unnecessary Grand Final goals on top of Sparrow not kicking his, then Melbourne would have won by 5 goals, therefore Fritsch’s career performance was even more pointless than it was featureless. And therefore, you are WRONG.

When it comes to being wrong dan, this is a career post for you. Well done. 😍

huh? Dylan Moore plays mid/forward. Odd by you.

Have you provided a reason that Rayner is ahead of Ainsworth? No.

Have you acknowledged that Sparrow gets more of the football and has produced on the big stage when Rayner hasn't? No.

The fact that you don't have the decency to acknowledge 9 effective disposals as a bad game really tells me that you simply celebrate mediocrity.

I admire you Dan. Nobody could stick to their pop guns better than you. 😂

Rayner plays this game and according to you it is horrendous, so you are downgrading him:

12 disposals, 9 effective disposals, 7 contested possessionss including 2 contested marks, 1 goal 2 behinds, highlighted by a massive clutch pack hanger and conversion to put his team within a kick with 3 minutes left. 240 metres gained.

Your two bruise evading circus clowns Fritsch and Spargo play this game - BETWEEN THEM - aaaaaaaannnnnd, no downgrade.

13 disposals, 1 goal, zero goal assists, 3 goal assist burns 😱, 4 contested possessions, 0 contested marks, 5 effective disposals, 0 contested marks, 291 metres gained.

But according to you, Fritsch is worth pick 4, Spudgo is worth pick 18 and Rayner is worth pick 30 due to this so called bad game he played…..

You are a very fair and unbiased judge dan. 😂😂🤣🤣
haha, I just caught you in a lie. You said 'massive clutch pack mark hanger'. a hanger? haha, he got 2 inches off the ground. You got caught out.

Don't you dare, mention this Rayner fellow in the same breath as Fritsch. Let alone compare their aerial ability.

'Hanger'. Hilarious! thanks for making my night.

Dan I will straight out bet you my house against your terrible shirt Rayner is universally recognised as better than Ainsworth from the 2017 draft crop. So just admit it, you are WRONG.

Sparrow. 🤣🤣🤣. What the complete f*ck does Tom Spudrow have to do with this thread?

Moore plays midfield or wing sometimes and small forward other times, but he is not the type of mid-forward I am talking about. I am referring to bigger bodied players or serious aerial threat players who attend some centre bounces then station themselves forward of the ball as a marking target and goal threat. The game breakers dan. You will get it one day. 😁

So explain to me why Moore doesn't satisfy your criteria. Moore has better goal sense, better defensively, better ball finding ability, better fitness, speed is the same. No-one other than you would take Rayner before Moore.
If you're so confident, make a poll of Rayner vs Moore or Fritsch or anyone and see how that works out for you haha

Lol @ Fritsch taking ruck bag marks with a cold sit over one player when there is nothing on the line. 🤣

Unlike you I wrote my explanations for each player. Moore is a terrific little player. But I see Rayner as having a higher ceiling in the big ticket areas inside mid and as a key target in front of the ball. And he is a pack crasher, a highly valued attribute very few players have.

yeah because Rayner taking a normal contested mark against Essendon in round 17 compares to Fritsch kicking 6 in the granny hahahahaha. thanks for the lols.

Lol, 6 ceremonial tap in goals doesn’t make a player any good dan. Even the chaos boss J Castagna would have struggled to mess any of those up. 🤣

Did you honestly call Rayner's mark a 'hanger'. I'll give you this opportunity to take that back.

I take it back. I quite reasonably thought if I threw enough labels at the mark one of them must be right….”hanger” “clutch.” 😁

It was a strong pack mark in a clutch situation.

Do you not think we are disappointed in how he is travelling? Or how our team has been the last 2 months. Your carry on is garbage.

there's a lot of experts in this thread so answer a burning question for me please

what the * does Fritsch use in his hair? it's one of the strangest barnets I've ever seen and it simply doesn't move.
The height of the hair is quite impressive really.

3 goals today and probably in our top 5 players.
Maybe we need to play him just as a forward/midfielder (70/30) for the rest of the season and not the opposite way.
