No-one has managed to tell me how Rayner is any different to last year? I think we can all agree that Rayner was a big disappointment for those that held any hope in him becoming a serviceable player.

I think the real reason Rayner's influence died off in the second half is because Gawn got sick of watching him dominate the clearances and instead reverted to trying to grab literally everything direct out of the ruck

You overreacted to his Collingwood game last year and got embarrassed as Rayner didn't fire a shot the rest of the year. Don't make the same mistake again.

98% Miers.
This was a very even draft relative to other drafts, so much more difficult to nail the number 1 pick, or any high pick, than in other drafts.
Gryan Miers is probably the premier half forward in the league.

I have been Miers' biggest critic over the years, but he is a genuinely good player now he has overcome his morbid fear of body contact. But he is not a more valuable player than Cam Rayner.
The depth of talent taken from pick 20 through the rookie draft would probably never be matched.
Can danster168 put Rayner amongst the 2016 or 2018 draft for comparisons sake?
