The only difference imo between McCluggage and LDU is that LDU is a dogshit one-way running hack disposal mid on a significantly higher salary than McCluggage. Other than that they’re basically the same.
Re TDK, a bit of a non starter given Cam turned down St Kildas much higher contract offer and TDK left. We wouldn’t have matched the Saints crazy offer for TDK had he been on our list.

Cam used to have the occasional good game, he now finds a way to contribute week in, week out.
Will he win a Brownlow? Probably not. Has he still been a great get for us? Absolutely.
Very damaging and has turned the tide of games and won them for us too.

I have no problem copping it from supporters of teams that beat us on a given day.

Looking at the highlights/game again and its clear Rayner has an aura that unnerves his opponents and boosts his teammates.
If AFL was an RPG then Rayner would be a highly valued support/buffing unit that makes other units stronger and enemies weaker.
