I am most definetly liking the possibility of getting Daniel Bell. If we could get him, I would be very happy (assuming we didn't overpay for him)

Its interesting to note that Sydney told Port Adelaide how Fosdike was not up for trade to Port Adelaide :D

No-one likes to trade with people who can't reason. :)

I'd love to get Daniel Bell. He had 24 touches against us here at Footy Park in the last minor round game. Thought he was only one a few Dees that day that showed any spirit. :thumbsu:

Fosdike, I'm a bit more on the fence about it. Good solid player, but surely not much upside. If we got him reasonably cheaply (which I doubt), then OK.

Has anybody seen much of Jay Nash?

Thank goodness! :thumbsu:

If by chance we could trade Skippy to the Roos for a third round pick and then on-trade that pick to the Bulldogs for Faulkner .......gee I'd be happy with that outcome

NO - Faulkner

NO - Birss

NO WAY - Bolton

Yes - Nash - but it seems he is not going anywhere.

Yes - Bell - Seems likely

How do you rate Faulkner?
I think it's a typical "grass is greener" job as most of us would only see him maybe once or twice a year ......and unlikely to have focussed on him the same way we do our own players.

But he has appeared to me to never have been fully fit since going to Melbourne and there are a lot of similar players at the dogs.

Am I also correct that Adelaide has more indigenous players than the Bulldogs that are likely to make him more comfortable in his old turf

Worth a shot....and Faulkner v Skipworth IMO has us in front....but maybe only slightly.

Bell I have seen play a lot.....IMO better than S.Thompson, and I love S. Thompson.

Nash does make a lot of critical errors that cost goals .....someone should check his errors....and by that I don't mean disposal....just some of his decision making.

I agree RE Bell but he is under contract with Melbourne and James thinks its very unlikely.

Personally, I would be stoked if we got him.

Daniher came out on Melb radio during the season and said "he loved Bell as a player" and that he would be an important player in the Melbourne side.

Doesn't sound like he would be too keen to let him go if you ask me

Watch the last Mel v Crows game and see that 50mtr pass coming off the HB line that never got above 3 mtrs off the ground and hit a fast leading Neitz on the chest ........ALL CLASS!
