Why loan money from your employer?

This why not BS - is just deflective.

He is on good money, he wants to invest in property do it the old fashioned way and use a bank.

Do you think he's the on CEO of an AFL club that hasn't perhaps done something like this?

It was only bought to peoples attention by Wilson, purely because of her hatred of Schwab

I'm sure she even question WTF she was writing the (non) article when she did

And why use the bank when he may've secured a better rate through the club? More importantly who cares? The "why not" is not deflective BS.

It's just showing it up for being a total non issue, that only those who clearly have an ingrained hatred for Schwab seem to get their knickers in a twist about

Company loans to high ranking officials is common place in the work force.

As for lower interest rates, that is not the case at all. The ATO would make Swabb pay the difference in interest rates if that were the case. If anything it is an invetsment by the club, they will be receiving interest on the money and since he is an employee the chnace of the loan going bad is very minimal.

Loaning money to high ranking officials is common place in the private sector, the ordinary person would not know this, thus making this an issue in the public eye.

The interest rate was a guess....wouldn't have a clue about the finer points of stuff like that.

Thats fair enough, I was merely pointing out that companies often give loans to high ranking officials as it is seen as a low-risk investment. It is a non-issue, however Wilson has to try and put a negative spin on this. Otherwise nobody would read her bullshit gutter trash journalism.

Not for the purpose of property speculation, it is common for stock purchase/education and especially for staff you want to/struggling to retain.

I rate him as an average CE, to me he has run rings around your board - just as he did for a while with ours.

You may see it differently - if he was my CE I would of voted on a very short leash being used.

The schwab loan really isn't the issue there are other issues that Schwab has that I would personally rather focus on over a loan that was paid back in full.

How do you feel he has rung rings around our board?
