is green now at the crossroads of his test career?
batted @ 6 for first 23 tests
batted @ 7 for 1 test in ashes 2023, where we played the extra batter in lyon's absence - then dropped
batted @ 4 for 4 tests upon warner's retirement and squeezed him back in - then out injured for a year (smith back @ 4)
batted @ 3 for 4 tests which included the WTC final
batted @ 6 for 1 test (first test of the summer)
batted @ 5 for 2 test (2nd & 3rd tests)
batting @ 7 in the boxing day test - behind carey.
so basically shifted about between 3-7 for 12 tests now.
hopefully he can deliver and become a regular 5 (or 6) as the selectors may well be starting to lose patience and with a bangladesh series next up, they may give someone else a go.
