Take the coin for one max of two seasons set him up for life money wise....and then concentrate on test/aussie cricket as he is atm..you know what I mean

See no reason why it should, plenty of elite batsman have shown the ability to perform in all 3 formats.

Tbh I think smith made some modifications to his technique which was in order to be more effective at T20 but it actually damaged his test match skills. Thankfully he has stopped that nonsense.

Not at all, the argument wasn't will Green master all 3 formats. My point was these are two players that have played as much cricket as possible across all 3 formats without it ruining eithers test careers.

If you want the best example for an elite 3 format player that plays a similar role we can look at Stokes.

If you want to just look at 3 format players that are above average/elite in all you have players like Sharma, Azam, Williamson, Warner among current players off the top of my head.

I don't know what Green will be in the future, what i do know is him playing a season or two of IPL is not going to ruin his career.
