I like Lings commentary and thoughts on the game. Him with Maxwell are two of the only insightful commentators going around that offer any understanding on the modern game. The rest are dinosaurs that have been too lazy to keep up to the changes in the game and work entirely in cliches and hyperbole.

I think Eddie has a point calling the umpire into account but that said Taylor had to be punished because you can't allow kneeing. Not sure where Ling is coming from defending Selwood, seems biased.

Cameron Ling , apart from being a complete tosser, is one of the worst commentators I have ever heard. So he fits the channel seven crew pretty well. He always shows his Geelong bias ...

Had Adams only nicked him once, he would have got off. The fact that he drove his knee in like 3 or 4 times made it hard for any other outcome to eventuate.

But Ling needs to GAGF if he's going to defend Selwood over something FAR worse. What Selwood did could result in the end of a career. What Adams did results in a bruised ego and some tears.
