He is seriously large for sure!

May benefit at this stage from being more physically developed than his peers (similar IMO to James Worpel).

Not suggesting he won't be a good AFL pick up (which is inevitable), but similar to Ollie Wines and Sam Powell Pepper, he is physically ready to go straight in.

Whether he can develop into an elite player (with his skills and football nous) remains to be seen.

I reckon the x-factor skills he has will translate to AFL.

He'll still take hangers, kick goals from 50-60m, break tackles.

Whether he can play large game time midfield is a query.

If he makes it but doesn't end up with a tank for the midfield he may end up playing the sort of role/game that Fasolo does.

Lions fans debating whether to draft him or LDU. Some want the X factor some want the pure mid. Regardless he doesn't slide past pick 2.

This kid is going to make a huge impact in afl throws kids around at his age looks like a man child, got the petracca legs

Check out the phantom draft board, there has been some support for players like Cerra, Dow, Fogarty and Stephenson to be in the top 3.
I've got three of those guys still as strong chances for top three along with the previously mentioned Rayner, LDU and Brander.

I can't see him landing at North due to our urgent need for pure midfielders.

It will be Brisbane or Carlton (or GWS for Kelly)
Realistically we need pure mids as well. But it's a tuff call, draft best talent in the draft or draft best need for the club.

Agree, the kid is a great raw talent.

We have Higgins, Thomas, Simpkin, Anderson Garner, Hrovat, Wood and Turner. Zurhaar will also come off the rookie list. Ziebell will also go forward when we get some mids. All 10 are naturally small to medium forwards. 2 or 3 can go in to the midfield for bursts.

We actually have the same amount of combined small to medium forwards as midfielders: Cunnington, Swallow, Jacobs, McDonald, Atley, Gibson, Clarke, Dumont, Mountford and Ahern = 10

We are kidding ourselves if we think we (a 16th to 18th team) can afford the luxury of a 187cm forward with our highest 1st round pick ever.
