Has there ever been a bigger case of second year blues? Just can't get into games at all and seems lazy with his on-field body language.

Is Chris Fagan giving him preferential treatment? Because he's a #1 pick? When is something going to give?

Not the only player to be given preferential treatment just for being a high pick. How many KPP's are persevered with for years just because they were taken in the first round of the draft, plenty. Rayner should have been given a spell in the NEAFL by now.

This is legit one of the worst individual performances I've ever seen, and it's on the back of poor form all year. He's obviously Fagan's favorite.
Or perhaps Fagan sees Rayner's talent and knows it is good to keep playing him and let him improve that way. Brisbane are not winning the flag in 2019, so why not get games into players like Rayner.

Haha, a bit like how we weren't winning the flag in 2016, only to wipe the floor with your mob in the Grand Final? You'd think a Sydney supporter of all people would learn their lesson.

and you would think after a further 3 seasons of failure the Bulldogs fans would stop bringing up their premiership unprompted.

I could bring up the Swans premiership win in 1909, but I don't think it is relevant to the discussion.

But how was that unpromted? You literally said Brisbane won't win the flag this year. 2016 proved people like yourself to be hilariously wrong.

Any team in contention for finals should be fielding a team that gives them the best chance of winning every week, not listening to people like yourself. That way, stories like 2016 happen.

Had a really bad game today and has been pretty poor from what I've seen this season.

Thought he looked good last year though, might need a run in the 2s but still think he has big potential.

Found the ball in some good positions and ran hard all day, it just didn’t all come off for him. Not his best game but he kept the intensity up.

Schache’s second year was bloody awful in comparison.

Jack Higgins is giving blues a good run.
