I refuse to even listen to delerious Fremantle supporters who actually think Warnock is better than Luenberger.

Biased idiots.

Just bumping this to get some more opinions.

I still am sticking by Wood. But they both will develop so we will just have to wait and see.

I like Wood and Warnock, both good prospects. Not trying to sound bias, but I like the look of Warnock (I have been watching Wood as he is in my dream team) and he really stepped up last year. Looked decent first game back, but gotta wait till mid season to see where both these great young players are at.

These people are right though, the Brisbane ruckman is the best young ruckman at the moment. Never know what the future holds though :)

Wood clearly for tapping ability. His ruckwork is elite for his age and will only improve. Almost as mobile as Warnock who is also a good solid prospect but come maturity Wood will be one level higher, right up there with the best.

This is only my opinion but I dont think Wood will be anymore than a tap ruckman. I have been watching him since the Brisbane days, and I must say I didnt see much upside to him rather than a piece of tall timber who can win the tap here and there. He cannot play up forward, as he does not have any judgement on leading, and his overhead marking is streaky. Although he did a good job on Sandilands, He is too inconsistent to be a force in the future. So im gonna say Warnock.

Ruins your post. Silly comment given the stage they are at. The biggest problem Cameron Wood has had is his fitness. He still struggles to run out games and it has a large effect on his ability to be 100% throughout a game. He said a couple of months ago that he did far more work this recent pre-season than he ever did at Brisbane. Once he gets his fitness up after another pre-season or two he will be a gun. Very accurate kick and he is good overhead. His tap work is elite and will improve as he continues to bulk up and get stronger. He will never be a Dean Cox, but he could be a ruckman in the Scott Wynd mould.

warnock is 205cm so i imagine his tap work will improve greatly once he puts on just a little bit more weight (he was drafted at 80kg:eek:). pretty handy pickup at 42 i reckon:thumbsu:

Actually he is 206cm.

And? Wood is 204cm... Height isn't really an issue between them.

However, I'm surprised no one has mentioned weight yet - Wood is already over 100kgs, and looks like he's on his way to putting on more muscle, as he has a frame that can handle it. He's not going to be a "skinny ruckman" in a few years' time.

Warnock has struggled with his weight though, only 94kgs and with very narrow shoulders. I can't imagine him ever getting beyond "beanpole".

i actually did mention weight and listed it as the reason behind warnock's only problem at the minute and a suggested reason as to why he was behind wood in tapwork at the moment (who you aptly pointed out is over 100kg). warnock has already put on 15kg in just over 2 years so i'm hoping that if he can reach the tonne it should do a lot for his ruck knocks.

I was just correcting the guy's height miscalculation, nothing more, nothing less.
