Missing the point. Threads like these are inevitable. Every team board has them and they all die off quickly.

Coming on to the CARLTON board to tell CARLTON supporters they are precious for starting the type of thread that occurs every time any player from any team makes a hit on one of their players, serves no purpose at all and really just fans the flames.

I understand you want to support your player and understand your point but really, it is like complaining about the trolling on Bay 13 with the extra kicker being you are going to get even less of a hearing on here than you would there.

They aren't being precious, they just see the incident through navy blue eyes as you see it through gold and brown eyes. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

I have a pet hate of it anyway, people posting from the comfort of their own computers about one of the hardest men in the AFL and call him gutless.

I will always respond if someone says that, especially obviously about a player that I have more attachment too, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong.

I know why people do it, but it doesn't justify their actions.

If you allow posts like the bigbolo moron then it wll only encourage Carlton supporters to retaliate...posters like that should be nipped in the bud ..they are like a cancer on a team board .

You can't always see the action taken. If I commented on it, chances are I acted on it.

Maybe it's my emotion talking; and maybe it isn't even bad enough to talk about. But when Fev and co. ripped into him I felt awesome.

He is not our new eye-gouging captain. He was West Coast's alleged eye-gouging captain who just happens to be our captain now. No need to throw in the eye-gouging taunt on the Carlton board when he wasn't even with us at the time.
