Brown definitely is a tough at it player, and every team needs a few guys like that. It wouldn't have mattered if that bump was on Kruezer (2nd gamer) or Fev or Cloke, the lateness of it and crudeness of it was totally unnecessary. I actually think Brown realised this later on has he had the look of someone that is going to get rubbed out for a couple of weeks.

It would of been great to see Kruezer nail the goal, but good on him for getting on with it, doesn't it suck though when Brown gets moved down to the other end of the ground and gets a goal.

Brown does seem to puff his chest out and have certain strut that I feel is a little bit unnecessary.

Lining someone up and taking them out after they have marked a ball is courageous:confused:
How much taller is Kreuzer than Brown?

It takes a lot of courage to throw yourself into someone that much taller than you, with no fear of what might happen to your body........hats off to Brown for showing some real guts and determination.............he will join the likes of other "heroes" such as Crawford and ? Lewis suspended for "making a fist of it" in their last outing vs the Roos.........very brave and heroic football all round............you should be proud Hawks fans.:thumbsu:

Browny mightve bumped your precious number one pick, but he shows more courage in the positive things he does in a game then your whole team combined could achieve in a season.

YEAH BROWN IS SO BRAVE WHEN HE HITS BLOKES FROM BEHIND ..........................*****EN GUTLESS PIECE OF sH!T.

How about we hear all of you carlton supporters giving us a rundown on Waite's coward elbow ???????????
The umpire should have paid 50m for him being held after the contest and it wouldn't have happened,......Waite, quite rightly was attempting to get on with the game.........crude? A little...........but watch how many times someone is grabbed while trying to go back for his kick, throw an elbow into the stomach or worse.........had the Hawks player not grabbed him there would have been no issue.

Now......back to your pathetic excuse for a team..........seem to be spending a lot of time with reports lately.........how many out for round 1 now?

Are you refering to the pathetic excuse for a team that keeps beding over your team..

Have you not watched any of your teams games lately ??

The Hawks dished out the mother of all hidings last year and were doing it again until Clarkson rested everyone.

Watch some footy young fella
.
Most Carlton supporters know their team have been shit for 5 years...... why has this news not reached you yet. ?

So ALL your good players were rested after half time? Whatever.

Young? Umm O.K............what I know is, yes, you beat us by 100 points last time we met.........and only beat us by 34 points last night, and quite frankly, it should have been closer.

The reason I refer to your pathetic excuse for a team is.......despite the fact that you have "bent us over" we have appeared in three GF's since your last appearance and have won 1.

Your team lacks discipline.........especially from those who are supposed to lead it..........hence my comments about the suspensions............you lack discipline on field......and by all reports, off it as well.

You hero worship Franklin, yet the guy had half a dozen kicks, half of which were turnovers...........GUN!
Out of the top 25 forwards last year he is the WORST shot for goal from the lot.
Wait beat him last night......you say rested........I say DRAGGED. How many set shots on goal did he have in the first half?

Was it:
a) Zero
b) None
c) All of the above

Looks like some little vegemite is upset his team got bent over.......... once again.

I suggest you learn to deal with it little fella. :thumbsu:

i think people have forgotten, that when your player in your team done something like browny, at least you made him earn it. if he gets suspended thats brownys problem, but being a hawks man im happy he made him earn it. i would rather someone make some earn their possesions especially a new player. Than get cheap possesion and all the footy community say that hawks have soft players. I wish i had 3 pieces of footage to show why the hawks stick up for browny. the 1st was when he cut off a pass against adelaide with smart charging at him dislocated his shoulder, stayed on and took another mark with 1 arm. 2nd against adelaide flying with the flight of the ball and burton coming the other way thats courage. And last year in the final against adelaide running back try to touch the ball and cannoned into the post, didnt care about his body. Any team would love him because to him its all about the team

I'm all for making the opposition earn it but you cannot say that was making him earn it! It was late and high contact was made to the head.... that's a little more than making Kreuz "earn it" and he will realise that when he is suspended during the week.

Ryan Jackson earnt it when he was bumped by Hodge fairly and we didn't complain about that bump. Brown sniped a player late when he didn't even bother to contest the ball and was reported for it.

Big difference between the two incidents.

What he did in other games isn't relevant to his late bump on someone playing the ball.

Wow. Some of you blues need to get a clue. I don't see anyone saying the 'charge' was tough, merely he is a tough player - ie he would expect (and gets) the same treatment if roles were reversed. By the same token, I don't believe it was a 'cheap shot', more taking advantage of an opportunity that presented itself.

It was late, probably. Mark was in the process of being completed, but Brown left the ground before Kruezer had touched it.
It was in the back, yes. He turned his body in flight, and braced for impact.
It was high?, um NO. He hit the small of Kruezer's back....think someone is confused there.
It was high impact, NO. Low Yes, Medium, probably as it seemed to shake Kruezer up.
Deliberate? Maybe. Intent was certainly to inflict physical pressure - given size difference, Brown would be unlikely to reach the ball to spoil directly, needed to bump opponent to unbalance. Deliberate spoil, yes...Deliberate charge? No.

Deserved a 50m, borderline whether to report or not. Stupidity of MRP (either put 'everything' up, or only serious incidents) means he will probably go, as they will judge in-play, medium impact, not high, and either reckless/negligent. Probably a week, although Brown still has carryover from memory, so expecting 2.

TheGeneral sums it up well.

I wonder if the MRP is going to be extra harsh on him for blatantly lying to them last year and making them look like morons. A bit of Karma coming back to bite.

Considering your all calling for Brown's head but are avoiding Jarrad Waite's elbow in the ribs on one of the Hawk players suggests to me your of double standards.

Brown was at the very least, going for the ball, while Kreuzer got in the way.

Waite just recklessly elbowed that bloke for no reason. Whatever Campbell Brown gets, Jarrad Waite should get double. :thumbsu:

here is a tissue for your issue

Nobody in carlton has half the testicles that brown possesses, and before you say anything, NO 4 on 1 does not constitute as tough.
