Cut up: An unhappy Wayne Campbell remonstrates with the Demons.

RICHMOND captain Wayne Campbell has done his bit to douse speculation he was eye-gouged by Demon Travis Johnstone on Friday night.
Despite footage of the incident looking damning, Campbell yesterday said: "I certainly didn't feel at any stage I was being gouged".
"I think Travis and I have had words over a couple of years . . . I think he was just trying to shut me up," Campbell said.
Campbell left the ground with a bloodied face. It is unclear if it was a result of contact from Johnstone or his opponent James McDonald.
There was no word on the incident from the AFL last night. The Demons face a nervous wait today.
Campbell spoke on Channel Nine yesterday about being constantly harassed by McDonald.
"I think the ball was a fair way away, and James was trying to stop my run which is fair enough, that's his job to do that," Campbell said.
"I probably got a little bit angry. I think we as a footy club play a little bit better when we're angry, and we didn't get angry enough."
