The only regret is we should've off loaded him 2 years ago, he would've had some currency then , maybe top 20 draft pick.

Carlton footy department are too conservative.

If I remeber correctly, weren't we banned from even trading into the 1st & 2nd round of the draft during those penalties?

I'm not happy with Campo taking the easy option out and leaving, I feel as though he has something to offer to our younger players and I reckon he would have proved handy in the back pocket and running off the half back flank.

If I knew that he was going to leave, 2-3 years ago I would have offloaded him.

It's a great achievement to play 10 years at one club, but it would have been a hell of a lot better if he had of played with one club in a career.

I hope when we play Essendon each and every Carlton player give it absolutely everything - as we normally do against the old foe - but if Campo has the ball, I want to see him on the ground and hurting.

He has backed out and left us in a time of need.

You certainly wouldn't want him beside you in the trenches at War.

Weather or not he has been good to us, is a good player, should have stayed whatever........when we play Essendon Campo will be schitting himself. He knows DAM well we have the wood over essendon and have TRADITIONALY been a lot tougher. He will be quaking. The only problem is that the only person we have to run through him like a ton of bricks is Kouta, and he's too nice a bloke to do it...bloody softy. Either way wont be hard to find him...just getting the lay off from anyone with a free.....BA-BANG !!!!

Who is tough in our team, maybe a new thread on this.....no carlton Hard men, where Rhys, Des English (looked tough when I was a kid), Brown.......?

J.Waite is the only one who could see sense in doing it.

He loves Carlton, will be our next captain and it will be a great leadership jump in his football if he could manage to run through Campo.

C'mon Jazza!

You are only as good as your last effort, I recall a RECORD WINNING MARGIN.

I will admitt that we tend to split our games against the Wooden spooners.

Keep it coming, this is Gold.

Lets face it no-one has ever been punished like the blues were by the AFL, our team was decimated, punished into being one of the weakest outfits ever and still we managed to beat you. You finaly pulled a win out of your rings though.

HHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HAAAAAA!!!!!

That Prelim is going to last me a life time.
Think I'll go watch round 2 again.

Your point has some substance to it Kooley, however what I am trying to express here is that we have a player (Camporeale) paid way above his value over the past 3 - 4 years, and we have a player (Lappin) paid below what his market value is over the past 3 or 4 years and when things get tough who walks on the club?????? Not the player who has been paid below market value but the one who was overpaid - It is an honour not a right to play for the Blues and he should be paying us back in time of need.

Note: Campo was a good player and I was one of his biggest supporters, but he was good in the days when Ratten, Kouta, Bradley & Brown were all in their prime......
Thats more like the Campo I remember, a great player when well feed by better ones, IMO a fill in kid in 1995 grand final lucky to be there,he should be greatfull to have played with the real greats

I'm Glad Campo decided not to Nominate for the Draft so maby their's light
at the End of the tunnel and he make peace with the Blues and change his mind
since he's still on the list :) he'd be silly he wouldn;t look very good in a essendon Jumper or any other club ex Carlton of cause :) if he was going he would have nominated for the Nov draft .

I don't what he saw in round 21 but the end is nigh if he takes Camporeale and Heffernan! :)
