the best way to 'give it to campo' is for carlton to win the game.
going out to play the game v campo and not v essendon is a mistake
as they say the best way to hurt the opposition is on the scoreboard.

as for campo jumping ship- its sad the way it ended BUT
he obviously didn't want to be there, so it is better he left. he would not have been much value if he wasn't 100% comitted. it's better he jumped ship when he did as it saved us $200,000 odd and another headache.

as for booing him, well that is each to their own,
i would just hope that those same boo's are given to the 5000 odd former carlton members who didn't not sign up after last year and all those bandwagoners who claim they are carlton supporters.

Is Campo a life member of Carlton? Or do you only get that when you retire? I'm certain he has done enough to get it...

u got him for cheap posessions ?

In order to get cheap possessions, you first need to be able to get to the contest. He knows how to find the footy and he knows how to dispose of it, how he gets it is irrelevent because we actually have enough midfielders capable of winning the football at contested situations.

Yeah, he's a receiver. We know that.
He's a good one though.

I just had to remove several posts from this thread due to personal abuse and quasi racist remarks.

Opposition fans are gone when this happens. Carlton fans are reminded not to bait others or get involved in personally abusive banter.

Its a real pitty young Murph isnt playing to give a campo a couple of tips on playing footy. How to get the pill without someone gently placing it in your hands, kicking in after a behind is NOT a hard ball get, what its like to actually be tackled trying to create space for your team mates rather than just avoiding the crunch yourself and placing your team mates into an impossible and dangerous place. Murph might have been able to teach him how to play without screaming abuse at your mates and generally walking around like king d1ck.

Oh well Murph isnt there, so well just have to rely on

Backs: A. Carrazzo B. Thornton S. O'hAilpin
Half Backs: A. Walker L. Whitnall H. Scotland
Centre: R. Houlihan A. Bentick S. Wiggins
Half Forwards: A. Koutoufides J. Kennedy K. Simpson
Forwards: E. Betts B. Fevola B. Fisher
Followers: C. Bryan, N. Stevens, L. Blackwell
Interchange: J. Bannister, C. McGrath, B. French, J. Waite
Emergency: A. Deluca, M. Lappin, J. Russell

to teach the punce how to play with courage, conviction and comraderie.

And for ANYONE in doubt about this issue he is welcome back at the blues anytim eafter he retires, but while he is at the Bombers he is the mortal enemy.

Campo the king of inaccuate kicking and kicking to the opposition alot ;)
he'll let ya down week in week out :) wonder if he will be at Essendon next year or will he wanna go elsewhere to a better side if he wants to play finals he better of going to Melbourne, or wce or Adelaide

Typical response. He has actually taken all the young midfielders under his wing and helps out all over the field with instructions and encouragement.

He has moved on, get over it gracefully

Lucky Kids, being tutored in the art of SQUIBERY.

Perhaps Ryan Houlihan can teach our youngsters.

Go for it. I'm happy for Campo do give directions on the footy field, he's been an AA has he not?, surely he'd know where to run and what not.

Which Camporeale was that?

The same prick who showed leadership by walking out on Carlton's youngsters and not kicking to Walker in Adelaide last year?

He helps out all over the field with instructions because he is only capable of pointing the fingers at his younger teammates for not covering his man!

Waite is back in this week. ;) :thumbsu:

Where to run to receive the ball and not much else.

AA doesn't mean anything since it was 6 years ago.

Only person he's interested in is himself. And we should know. We had him for 11 years.

He had an amazing 13 handball receives out of 21 possessions 2 weeks ago. Certainly indicates he still knows how to run behind the player who has won the ball and demand the cheap possession.

Finals was never apart of it, he just needed to get out of Carlton and wanted to play under Sheedy

You're right about one thing.. he did wanna leave the Blues but I doubt it had anything to do with playing under Sheeds. I think he was happy to be picked up by whoever wanted him!!!

But really, when you look at it, he left Carlton at a time when things weren't too good, but for what? To go to a team who is even worse!!!! LOL

He deserves everything he gets and by that I mean I hope somebody knocks him out!!! TRAITOR! No wonder he and Aaron Hamill are mates!!!

Hope someone waves a Woodenspoon in front of Campos Face :) he really deservers a back to back woodenspoon serves him self right thought he was going to a Better club as long as they don't play in finals until he retires i'll be happy :) or until essendon shows him the door :)
