He not in my best 22 but i dont hate the guy. Have seen how much work he has put in with a few of our young blokes and he is pretty well repsected around the club. Even if he doesnt play another game he will have done something for us. I agree we need the kids playing this year. There are two or maybe three spots in the side for Pev, JJ,Heff and Campo so for Campo to get a run in my best 22 one of the previous mentioned need to be out. Should be a minimum two, possibly three first year blokes playing every week.

Has done some good work with our young blokes behind the scenes. Doesnt look like we will get much out of him on the field for our two years but he has played some part in the development of our young mids.

IMO, he played quite well for essendon on the weekend, leave Dyson in the side. Let him run off the half back and I reckon you will end up with another mcviegh style player from him!... just put him in the side and leave him there! oh and give him game time!

we aren't disputing whether or not dyson should be in the side. i am a fan of his and i would love to see him play for the remainder of the season in the ones.

Jetta: looks out of sorts, drop hin to VFL for confidence
Davey:Lacks silky disposal of Campo
Watson: looks very slow and indecisive
Monfries: Not in great form
Slattery: Different type of player to Campo, can't compare
Dyson: Fringe player
The rest: Have shown very little glimpses at league level, if any.

My point is everyone has downsides. You can't just be biased against one player because you don't like him. I'd rather see the selectors stick with youth, but in reality, an in-form Campo is in our best 22. He is only going to find form playing AFL, not VFL. Give him a go for 3-4 weeks. If he hasn't found anything, then drop him back.

Personally i would go Hislop. But in saying that team selection is a whole different area . Lots of things that i dont agree with or see coming happen on the selection table.

it is round 4 and we are already talking about playing the kids. we want to make the finals don't we???

we had 11 players playing who had played just 50 games or less on saturday. maybe that was the reason for the fade out.........

if campo is fit we need his skills and experience in the side.

Most sides are playing their kids this time of year...rewarding them for exceptional pre seasons and showcasing their talent to measure where they're at. We faded out because we got lazy, had nothing to do with the kids. Davey still tackled, Jetta still ran when given the game time. These kids we've drafted have pace, which is what we lacked last season You were saying something about making finals now?? Please continue.

I think the Bombers would be crazy to leave a young guy out for Campo. The midfield you are building is quick and exciting, I cant see how Camporat (forgive me guys, still pissed off about him leaving) is going to improve the side you are building. Anyway they are my thoughts.

Just play the kids is all I ask - when it is a line ball selection decision I just want Sheeds to play the kids instead of CAMPO - he is finished and will only hinder player development

He need to take a look at ourselves seriously. we are not premiership contenders this year. we need to blood as many players as we can. find out who is there or thereabouts, and aim for next year or the year after. no point playing old hacks like campo who prevent new blood coming into the side. we dont need top up players at this point in time. and for those who might be thinking, im anti tanking.
