Can anyone surpass 306???

Anyway, here's a topic for discussion.

Do you think there is anyone who could surpass Schimma's 306 games in the Royal Blue and White??

I think if Harvey and Pickett can stay injury free they could get close, but my top pick would be Stevo. His form has been inspirational over the last month or so, and appears to be enjoying his footy after a terrible 2000. Hopefully he'll continue for a couple more seasons.

Agree with Stevo....but how about John Blakey? The way he's going, he could be playing until well into his 50s and notch over 500 games in the royal blue and white!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if mighty Mick plays next year
won't he bring up the 300+ games?

He is on 265 at the moment.

9 games remain this year & 22 next year.

If he plays all of them, he would be on 296, so he would need 4 finals as well, over the two years.

With his injury history over the last two years, he looks very unlikely to get to 300.

Looking through the list, Harvey would be my pick. I'd love to see Stevo do it, he's one of my all time favourites, but it would mean another 3 seasons, injury free to do it. He'd then be, what 33? I hope his body stands up to the pounding he gives it.

Not entirely true Darky, Winter only lasts a couple of months in Canberra, but it's the winter mornings that kill you. The days are rather pleasant, but going to work in minus 5-6 degree mornings serverly dampens any enthusiasm one might have for their workplace.
