Can he come back, I think he has about 10-12 votes at present, he would need around 26 to win I suggest, which means he needs about 5 BOG's.

44 clangers so far doesn't help?? Do umpires notice?? He still deserves something.
A different team maybe.

If we don't start winning again he's got no chance.

I'm not so sure he's polled that well up until now anyway. Apart from the last month or so when he has struggled, early in the season we had a few players who were performing well.

He's polled exceptionally well the last two seasons in very poor teams. My perception of the Brownlow is that players only poll well until their reputation gets the better of them. In the previous two seasons Buckley was getting 3 votes for 30 possession games. I don't think he would now.

I'd be looking at someone like Kouta. He is playing brilliant football. He has only really started playing at this level this season. That means the umps will notice him. Hird could be a chance because he has been out of the game for 2 seasons. Because the umpires have nothing of recent times to compare him to, he will get the 3 votes.

Clangers are not a very good guide at poor performance.

Look at the leaders in that stat. Ricciuto, Buckley, West. 3 of the best so far this year. A more helpful stat would be % of clangers to possessions.
