Can CC be sacked??

A contract where you can be sacked without being paid out is not a contract at all but a device to keep the media off your back. I can't believe CC would be stupid enough to sign such a contract.

Yeah I saw that inteview. From other reports about what had occurred i considered he was letting the truth come a close second behind a good story.

All the same there is two sides to each story.

Now in the light of the poll/dodd events and the senior playing group has taken no action against Peak I would say there was a hole in the system and that he (peak) exploited.

If East Fremantle had of made a statement would it have been disimillar from CC's ? Probably not.

Bet it wont happen again.

Peak missed a 0600 training session last Sunday with the Sharks.. Apparently he was given permission from dockers.

East Fremantle dropped him from the Derby.

What is the situation with Connolly's contract? I know that he has another 2 years but I heard as well that he can be sacked without paying out the contract. So what's to stop the board from getting rid of him at the end of this year? Let's say we miss the finals, finish on 10 or 11 wins. Would that be sufficient grounds for him to get the can, do you think?

I have lost all faith in this man. I'm sorry CC, but the buck has to stop with the head coach. You've had 4 years, and look at the sorry state the team is in. I remember he said once he might not be the man who leads Freo to a premiership, he might be the guy that comes before him. Well, stand aside sir, and give someone else a chance?

who cares if he even had a 20 year contract sack him now and lets get on with it.let hart pay the 1mil he was one of the clowns that put our 1mil on the line for nothing to gain and all to lose and i dont think they would have been smart enough to have an escape clause

What name coach would possibly be stupid enough to come to Freo to be white-anted when the season is only half way over ?

I'm no petition expert, but my advice to those writing this particular petition would be:
1. Check spelling and grammar, and try to get it right the first time, not wrong both the first and second times.
2. Don't make invalid points in the caption, like the second sentence (how can you prove he is not concentrating?).
3. Aim for more than five signatures.
4. Don't bother if you know that all this petition would do in the unlikely event it were to become popular would be an irritation for the person at the club who had to deal with it.

Can I intrude on your board.In 1998 we were having a similar problem.

I think you need a new coach.I think you need a new CEO.They can't ever be friends,it makes for improper decision making.Also the CEO and the football department should be separate.No interference in any way.

I was concerned when I read that you don't have a nutritionist,that your players are not monitored what they eat. I think your football department needs a massive restructure.

I would get Malcolm Blight, or Wayne Carey.Carey is a tacticke genius, he is a hard nut.he knows what needs to be put in place to succeed.

I would get a better structure in place in the football department.

I wouldn't get O'Donnell, he appears to be an arrogant person.You need someone the players can relate to but be firmm, as well as tactically sound.Like a Cressa.

I think for the remainder of the season, Connelly needs to toughen up, massively.I would do what Matthews did in 99, have the breathelizer at recovery after a match.Have the structures in place if the players are over the limit set , and stick to it.It will only happe the once. MAtthews still has the breathelizer in his drawer I read.A deterant, a straightner up for the players.Oh ********, I may get dropped, I had beeter do as I am told. They are young men, they need to be told implicitly what to do, and the consequences.

We do have a nutritionist, and also a consulting nutritionist who is one of the best in the world in her field. I know her personally. I can't vouch for whether she gets listened to.
