Can Fremantle overtake West Coast head to head?

Current head to head record is 33-28 in favour of West Coast but with Fremantle set to enter a premiership window while West Coast struggle at the bottom of the ladder, it's possible and quite likely that Fremantle overtake West Coast head to head before the end of the 2020s. Fremantle have never lead the head to head ledger in their entire history so if/when they overtake West Coast on the ledger it'll be interesting to see if we begin to see a power shift in WA.

It's a golden opportunity for Fremantle to change things in WA as they've been a joke and laughing stock for decades they've built a quality list with no concessions from the AFL it's just hard to win a flag if you're based in WA.

We were about to overtake West Coast in 2015 and then went on to lose 11 derbies in a row. No more 2024 style upsets and we will be leading the ledger before 2030.

Agree with the above comment that it won’t mean much as long as West Coast has 4 flags and we have zilch, they’ll continue to be perceived as the big fish.

I am still bitter that Freo lost 11 derbies in a row in that 2015 to 2021 period. Should of won at least 1 or 2 in that period

I’m pretty comfortable that we will pass them for derbies in 2028, and flags in 2030.

Would take a lot to go wrong not to happen.
