Was reading about the trade American and Chinese economies and the growth of the Chinese economy the last few decades and it got me thinking..

Can the geelong football club grow to be the largest financial and supporter club in vic???

Our advantages for growth are:

Geographical advantage of the only Vic team with its own regional area

Monopoly in a fast growing region of Victoria

Our own stadium which has also an appeal

Developed a very professional clean image over many decades

A very family friendly non hostile crowd at skilled compared to MCG tenants

Improving infrastructure regionally connecting Victoria for both Melbourne based and geelong based fans to create larger attendances at all venues also advocating for further skilled upgrades in the decades to come

I know we are behind by a bit right now but… who knows down the track?? All the above is just off top of my head as well. Please add and discuss or tell me if it’s outright ridiculous. All opinions and healthy debate welcome
