Can Richards play anywhere else?

I'm not making a 'bash Guy Richards' thread I'm just wondering if you've seen him at Williamstown or somewhere and seen him play another position.

I can't remember him playing anywhere else but Ruck.

Gee I really hope so , he is absolutely useless and did anyone else see the great tapwork he did directly behind him into Minsons arms! GUY is a f#cking joke not up to AFL standard 6 years on a list for what.

Malthouse spoke glowingly of him at his press conference. He said Richards will be a very good footballer, (surprisingly) from what Ive seen of him, he needs to improve greatly.

To be fair, it was his second game back. Fraser's top shelf performance last week was directly assisted by Richards.

Thing is, we need to keep him IMO. But we cannot under any circumstance keep him and Fanning.

Yes. He can play at any other clubs VFL affiliate when he is fit enough to take the field.

This year he had every chance to make it and he failed. He is injury prone and when he is fit he is an inconsistent tap ruckman who has minimal impact around the ground. He is taking up a valuable list spot. We'd get better value out of Clarke Keating and he's an old broken down wreck.

He went into the game underdone. We had no other choice but to play him, because all our other ruck options (Walker, Hall, Fanning, C Cloke,) were worse. Perhaps T Cloke could have played in his place, but he's hardly set the world on fire this year either.

I'd give him one more year. There's three other talls that have to go before him.

He will get 1 more year IMO. Whether he should is another matter. If his only problem is injury then he is too injury prone to carry on the list. It might have cost St. Kilda another realistic flag chance. I am far from convinced that the problem is just injuries though. I haven’t seen enough ability as a ruckman and I’ve seen none around the ground. I just don’t think he is good enough anyway.
