I think we will be really hard to beat in those 7 games at the G. Even against Coll, GWS, WC I'd give us a good chance, the team will be fired up.

My best 22, fully fit

FB: Astbury Rance Vlastuin
HB: Houli Grimes Edwards
MID: Nankervis Martin Cotchin
Prestia Lambert McIntosh
HF: Caddy Riewoldt Stack
FF: Baker Lynch Rioli
Int: Short Higgins Ellis Chol

Stiff: Ross, Bolton, Broad, Castagna, Butler, Graham, Balta, Townsend

Chucked a fiver on us for the flag at $18 before the weekend.

After yesterday’s game it’s a resounding yes for me pending injuries. The thing I was looking for most was our ability to run over a team in the second half, particularly the last quarter.

We did that convincingly (just giving the saints a bit of a head start).

The scene is set for us to build momentum and challenge for top four and the flag. Going to be a fun run to finals!
I've sooooo been missing this!! I have a very good feeling about it being back!

For those fellow Stats nerds out there, the "by the numbers" podcast on RSN covers us pretty well this week, skip to the 33min mark & enjoy

Compare to 2017 at this point of the season (I read this some where so not sure if accurate) we were 9/6 with a % of 105.?, 2019, 9/6 103.?%. Just an observation.

It's true, although i'd assume our run home is tougher this year compared to 2017..!

Short being replaced by a player who’s never played an afl game lol. No way

Couple of very interesting games coming up.

GWS and the Lions will both be setting themselves to play well against us at the MCG. GWS have never beaten us at the 'G. The last time the Lions beat us was at the 'G in 2009 - the only time they've ever beaten us there.

I'd assume both teams would put extra pre-season work into us, compared with say, the Goldies, knowing that if they can break that hoodoo, it improves them on last season.

We've already struggled with GWS's game style this season. Not sure if I've seen enough of the Lions to know if they have that chip-mark style in them... We'll need to be better at winning the ball back than we have been, but we are building...
