can smart change his mind?

hi this is not a troll genuienly curious

the way i read it in the press over here in WA was that smart might have gone because ayres didn't think he was good enough to play top team

if that was the case can smart change his mind & go on to the end of the season /next season & get his 300 games ?
is he allowed to change his mind and if so would the club take him back?

I think you've still got everyone else who was leaving him out at the selection table though.

It's hard to conceive Smart coming back. The focus must be squarely on rebuilding now.

Agreed. Smart belongs to the past now, time to move forwards.

It's going to be a big clean out at the AFC this september. On field Carey & Burns at least.....who knows who'll go from the backrooms.

Agree with the posters above. No point bring Smart out of retirement as we need to playing youngsters to rebuild our team.

his send off game was to magical to re-nig after. He's far to proud for that.
