Hey guys.

Im a Richmond Supporter who travelled down to Geelong today to watch the game. Im a part of the Richmond Cheer Squad and have just noticed that once i got home that I had left all my banners at the Ground... They were left on Carr St. Banners include "COP THAT!" "TIGER ARMY" and others. If anyone has any info or knows someone who has them could you please let me know. They are kept in a black carry bag with handles..

It would mean alot to me.:(

thanks

Check with the Club. That's where it's likely to be handed in. Suggest you leave it until late Monday. The telephone number is 1300 GO CATS (46 2287). Good luck.

thanks ammo... will do..

yeah. what a shit day...
Bad luck mate, I wouldn't give up hope. Depending where you left them (ie in the ground or in the street by the ground) you might try the police lost and found too.

I don't want to sound patronising but personally I'm always really impressed by any Tigers fan that makes the trip down to the Cattery. It shows real spirit, especially given current form lines. I know you probably didn't have a great day between the game and losing your stuff but I really hope you felt welcome there.

Good luck with finding your stuff.

Always enjoy my trip to KP. Stood in the outer today and gave a fair bit (well as much as you can with that margin) espicallyto umpy No. 13, Went for a walk at half time. Never knew you could walk all the way around the ground.

Almost thought for a moment that we would struggle to kick 4 goals. Oh well i guess we were only two goals worse than Port.

Glad to hear you like the Cattery, personally I think it's a terrific place to watch a game. Will be even better once all of the renos are finished in a few years.

There's no doubt you've got a ways to go but I think the Tigers are finally on the riight track. You've still got a few too many blokes that can't kick, plus a couple of passengers who aren't playing for the team but on the other hand you've got a couple of absolute guns. I've been watching Riewoldt for a couple of years and he has all the makings of a star forward. Nason is quick and uses it really, really well. Nahas is a terrific player, I'd love to have him. You've got some good men down back, even though they suffer a bit because your midfield still isn't quite competitive. You were missing a few really good players as well. You've cleared most of the dead wood now - no disrespect meant to those that have gone - and you've got an opportunity to move forward. The bad news is of course that you won't get much from the draft for a couple of years. Still, you've got a core of players to build a team around and I wouldn't have said that for some years.

Best of luck for the rest of the season.

Re: Can someone please help.

We are a monty for pick 4 this year.

Two facts that even made my eyebrows raise. Last week Reiwoldt was the oldest of our forward 6 - 21.

The week before Cotchin played his 29th game - and he had 12 players in the side who had played less.

But at least we have a coach who is not coaching for his survival,

I hope you find your banners.

Does anyone know what that Richmond supporter in the RFC Cheer Squad area was going on about? Was he giving it to Otto or the Umps? Anyway I could hear him SCREAMING from my position in the Social Club 200 metres away. Eventually it seems he got himself thrown out.

Re: Can someone please help.

It was Otto - I was pretty near in the Doug Wade Stand, the theme being mainly to do with him doing the dirty on the Tigers and leaving for a wad of cash. In the end he had all the Tigers' fans in the area jeering, particularly when Otto missed that shot at goal in the last quarter. The police did come and have a word with him, but not sure whether he left voluntarily or not.

Sorry to hear about your missing gear Tigerbeau. :(

I hope somebody does the right thing and hands it in to either the GFC, RFC or the Police for you.

Fingers crossed and good luck for the rest of the Season. :thumbsu:

Sorry you lost your banners. Got to admire supporters who stick with their club through such long, difficult times. Plenty wouldn't .

That was absolutely hilarious when they did that. I could understand it if the game was close and he needed to slot the goal to put us in front in the dying stages, but we were 100 points up at the time.

Somehow I don't think Otto would be losing sleep over it, especially when he has a couple of premiership medallions in the top drawer.

Back on topic, have you tried getting in contact with V-Line? It's probably a long shot, but if the bag containing the banners was left in Carr Street between the ground and South Geelong station, someone might have assumed the owner was travelling by train and handed it in at the station.

He left at about 3/4 time and everyone thought he'd finally been booted out, but he'd just gone to get a beer.

Should've seen the drunk Geelong supporter in the Premiership Stand heckling Ling, it was funny how the entire stand gave this guy shit and cheered Ling when he went off. :D
But good luck to Tigerbeau, hope you find your banner. :thumbsu:

Is that what he was on about? He was about a row over me (and above) and I couldn't understand a friggin word, nor could I understand anything that was being yelled back at him. It was utterly bizarre!

Wonder if our magnanimous cheer squad could get together with the Tiger squad and produce a replica, or replacement. I do admire loyal suppporters like Beau.

The Richmond cheer squad was in full voice shouting "Judas" at Otto. He turned around and gave them a nice little wave - hilarious stuff

Good luck getting you banners back
