did well in his first year in charge of Sydney given the difficult circumstances, mainly the bad run of injuries to key players. However, Sydney's list is in pretty good shape especially after they filled a glaring hole in the key forward position and they're coming off a good trade period overall. Sydney's last succession plan with Longmire succeeding Roos saw them win a flag and I'll be surprised if Cox doesn't win a flag there, do you think Sydney can win a flag under Dean Cox

Let's not forget they were 4-8 at one stage and had a couple of back to back stinkers against Melbourne and Adelaide. Sure they were much better in the second half of the year, but he must be judged on the entire year, not a sample space where they won more than they lost.
